Answer: (1) In addition to the machine room, the compressed air station should have an auxiliary room. Its composition and area should be determined based on comprehensive factors such as the scale of the compressed air station, the type of air compressor, the machine repair system, operation management, and internal cooperation conditions of the enterprise.

(2) The layout of equipment and auxiliary rooms in the machine room, as well as the layout of other buildings adjacent to the machine room, should not affect the natural ventilation and lighting of the machine room.

(3) Compressed air storage tanks should be arranged outdoors and should be located on the north side of the machine room. The net distance between the vertical gas tank and the outer wall of the machine room should not be less than 1m, and should not affect lighting and ventilation. For compressed air tanks with an oil content of no more than 1mg/m³, if it is difficult to arrange them outdoors, they can be arranged indoors.

(4) In the machine room of compressed air stations in hot summer and cold winter and hot summer and warm winter areas, measures should be taken to reduce heat dissipation of equipment and pipelines.

(5) When the air drying and purification device is installed in the compressed air station, it should be arranged at one end near the auxiliary room. When the user requires the compressed air pressure dew point to be lower than -40℃ or the dust particle size to be less than 1μm, the air drying and purification device should be installed at the user's location.

(6) In the compressed air station, when a special maintenance area is required, its area should not be larger than the area occupied and required for operation of a largest air compressor unit.

(7) For compressed air stations with a single exhaust volume equal to or greater than 20m³/min and a total installed capacity equal to or greater than 60m³/min, it is advisable to install lifting equipment for maintenance, and its lifting capacity should be determined according to the heaviest component of the air compressor unit.

(8) The coupling and belt drive parts of the air compressor unit must be equipped with safety protection facilities.

(9) When the vertical cylinder head of the air compressor is 3m above the ground, a movable or detachable maintenance platform and escalator should be installed. The air intake filter should be installed in a place that is convenient for maintenance, and a platform and escalator should be installed when necessary. Protective railings should be installed around the platform, escalator, pit and lifting hole. A protective net or board should be installed at the bottom of the railing. The trench in the compressed air station should be able to drain the accumulated water and should be covered.
